IonQ

Flight Gate Assignment Optimization.

We explored quantum algorithms for tackling flight gate assignment at airports, a complex combinatorial optimization problem with real operational impact. Using IonQ's near-term quantum devices, we tested variational and other current algorithms and benchmarked performance against classical methods, revealing important insights about quantum advantage timelines.

Cleveland Clinic

Quantum ML for Rare Disease Detection.

We developed and tested quantum machine learning algorithms to detect rare diseases in medical datasets. This work bridged fundamental research and real-world application while exploring how to leverage data symmetries to improve algorithm performance, and how hardware noise affects these approaches in practice.

Bundesdruckerei

Distributed Quantum Computing.

In collaboration with Bundesdruckerei, we developed software architectures for distributed quantum computing and advanced dimensional expressivity analysis methods. This partnership combined our algorithm expertise with industry infrastructure needs, enabling scalable solutions for real-world deployment.
